KTC kids come from homeless shelters, refugee centers, and low-income neighborhoods.
More than 7000 children have participated since the program began.
KTC takes place on 1750 acres of woods, fields and streams south of Nashville on Tennessee’s Highland Rim, and is hosted by The Farm Community, founded in 1971 on the principles of nonviolence and respect for the earth. The Farm has been the home for KTC since 1986.

This summer, Kids To The Country (KTC), a project of Plenty International, will be We are planning some KTC for June and July 2022 and starting a fundraiser! We pray the virus does not interfere this year! All of us including the kids on The Farm are looking forward to being together with the kids from Nashville, swimming, riding horses, making lots of crafts, doing bat walks at night, and especially being in the talent show! We are most grateful for all the support over the years and glad to have the opportunity to keep it going!

KTC is working with two Nashville area nonprofits, Safe Haven Family Shelter for those experiencing homelessness and Be a Helping Hand who provides affordable housing to communities in North Nashville.
